CORE PRO EDGE is a flexible anodised aluminium edging system for resin-bound surfacing, asphalt, paving, gravel, wet-pour, artificial grass, lawns and planting. Its removable tabs allow straight and curved runs to be formed from the same profile.
CORE PRO EDGE
Anodised aluminium edging for hard and soft landscape finishes.
- Material
- 6063A marine-grade tempered aluminium
- Standard finish
- Anodised aluminium
- Alternative finish
- Powder coated to order

Rear connectors align adjacent aluminium lengths. Tabs remain in place for rigidity on straight runs or are removed selectively where the profile needs to form a curve.
Choose CORE PRO EDGE where a lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium profile and clean hard-landscape interface are preferred over steel edging.

Check the interfaces.
Profile height, fixing, haunching and compaction must suit the adjoining surface.
Thermal movement and joint gaps must be coordinated for asphalt and other heated or exposed applications.
CORE PRO EDGE is not a structural retaining product or vehicle barrier.
Build it in the right sequence.
- 01
Compact the designed sub-base and extend it beyond the proposed edge line.
- 02
Set a string line and prepare a continuous sharp-sand/cement bedding layer.
- 03
Place and level the profile, then fix through the foot with approved spiral pins or substrate fixings.
- 04
Join lengths with the rear connector and form curves by removing selected snap-out tabs.
- 05
For macadam, leave a 4–6 mm thermal gap, keep the first roller pass about 50 mm clear and do not exceed 180°C.
Use the current exact product document, approved project detail and site inspection plan.

CORE PRO EDGE questions.
How does CORE PRO EDGE form curves?
Selected rear tabs can be removed where a curve is needed. Leaving tabs in place helps the same profile retain a straighter line elsewhere in the run.
Can CORE PRO EDGE be used with resin-bound surfacing?
Yes, selected profiles can form a clean interface for resin-bound systems. The substrate, fixing, face height and finished level must be coordinated with the surfacing specification.
Why choose aluminium edging?
Aluminium is lightweight and corrosion resistant. The choice between aluminium and steel should still reflect the surface, profile depth, line, loading and installation method.
