Estate client
A landscape shaped by its purpose.
The Landscaping Consultants delivered Joe Perkins Design’s Garden for the Future at the National Trust’s Sheffield Park. CORE supplied products for the wider garden and estate works, supporting access surfaces while retaining the landscape’s natural character.
What the project had to achieve.
Support permeable landscape and access surfaces, retain the natural gravel appearance and provide reinforcement for the estate’s ongoing programme of works.
- 01
Natural appearance
Retain the character of gravel within the estate landscape.
- 02
Access surfaces
Support permeable landscape and access areas.
- 03
Different landscape functions
Coordinate gravel stabilisation, geogrid and grass reinforcement across the wider works.

Selected around the site—not just the surface.
Gravel stabilisation, geogrid and grass reinforcement were supplied for different functions within the wider garden and estate works.
The package included 1,810m² of CORE COMMERCIAL gravel stabilisation, 1,700m² of 20kN geogrid and six CORE GRASS 40 panels. The gravel grid contains aggregate to help reduce movement and rutting; the geogrid and grass reinforcement serve different needs within the wider works.
The photographs show Garden for the Future and its landscape setting. The quantities above refer to the estate supply.
