A landscape shaped by its purpose.

At Foxley Lane in Purley, 41 affordable homes sit among retained mature trees. Vision Construct delivered the development for CR8 Three Ltd, working with OB Architecture. Access and parking had to fit the established landscape.

Provide stable access and parking in a tree-rich setting, with a root-sensitive supporting layer and a permeable gravel finish suited to everyday residential use.

The CORE solution

Selected around the site—not just the surface.

CORE TRP provides cellular support within the pavement build-up, while CORE DRIVE grids contain the gravel at the surface.

CORE supplied 1,260m² of CORE TRP for cellular support within the pavement build-up, together with 940m² of CORE DRIVE 50-35 HD and 70m² of CORE DRIVE 40-30. The TRP layer helps spread loads over rooting areas; the surface grids contain gravel under everyday use.

Membranes, geogrid and fixings completed the supply. Construction photography shows the cellular layer beside a retained tree before the landscape was finished.
