Where it fits.
Selected where a woven separation or reinforcement layer should remain visually obvious during future excavation or inspection.
A bright orange version of the FasTrack 609 woven geotextile, combining the same declared mechanical and hydraulic properties with a conspicuous buried separation layer.

Woven · OrangeSelected where a woven separation or reinforcement layer should remain visually obvious during future excavation or inspection.
Projects needing woven performance and a clearly visible buried interface.
Interlaced tapes provide lower elongation and a defined tensile response.
Nominal area is calculated from the stated roll dimensions. Allow for overlaps, cuts, waste and project geometry when calculating quantities.

Compare the function and the full set of declared properties. A woven and nonwoven product can both separate layers but behave differently under load and water flow.

Follow the project method statement and current manufacturer guidance. The steps below are useful principles, not a substitute for application-specific design or inspection.
Keep rolls securely stacked and wrapped until required. Protect the fabric from damage and unnecessary exposure.
Remove shrubs, large rocks and similar obstructions. Fill deep ruts, voids and depressions to provide a smooth support.
Keep the textile taut enough to minimise folds, but do not stretch it so that it bridges hollows. Temporary ballast may be needed in wind.
General manufacturer guidance is at least 300 mm overlap side by side and 600 mm end to end. Increase overlaps on soft or uneven ground.
Do not traffic directly on exposed geotextile. End-tip onto the edge or already placed fill, then spread using suitable tracked plant.
Provide at least 150 mm cover before trafficking or compaction. Repair damage with the same textile extending at least 1,000 mm beyond the affected area in every direction.
The current general installation guide says temporary uncovered exposure should not exceed seven days. Where a source product sheet states another EN 12224 value, use the more conservative limit unless the current Declaration of Performance confirms otherwise.
Two pages covering CORE stocked formats, declared technical values, installation principles, limitations and manufacturer traceability.
Straight answers about the grade, its role and its limits.
The current manufacturer sheets publish the same mechanical and hydraulic values. The distinguishing feature is the bright orange colour and its high visibility as a buried layer.
No. It is a high-visibility geotextile, not a detectable warning tape, service marker or substitute for site-specific permit-to-dig controls.
It can provide a visible separation layer, but it is permeable and is not an impermeable containment barrier. Contaminated-land requirements need project-specific design and approval.
Send the build-up, application, quantities and site information you have. CORE can help confirm the intended function, stocked roll size and any information still needed before specification or supply.
