A landscape shaped by its purpose.

Beside the River Irwell, Bruntwood’s Riverside courtyard brings planted terraces, lawns and sheltered seating into the working day. MS Contracts Management renewed the outdoor spaces with CORE DATUM EDGE and CORE PLANTERS.

Provide durable landscape edges and movable planting that can adapt to seating and events, with a coordinated finish that complements the surrounding buildings.

The CORE solution

Fixed landscape edging and movable planters use a shared Corten finish across the courtyard.

150mm-high CORE DATUM EDGE in 3mm Corten steel defines the landscape boundaries. Five 1200mm CORE PLANTERS on lockable castors allow planting to move as the courtyard layout changes.

The shared Corten finish connects the fixed landscape edges with the movable planters, creating a consistent material palette across the space.
