What this product is.
TerraGrid Core 20 is a polypropylene biaxial grid with declared equal machine- and cross-direction tensile strength. Compatible angular aggregate interlocks with the apertures to restrict lateral movement within a project-designed granular layer.

Where judgment is required.
The grade name is not a standalone design capacity.
Aggregate grading, aperture compatibility, formation, compaction and design method control performance.
TerraGrid Core is the current manufacturer grade; do not merge it with legacy CORE stock formats without confirming the SKU mapping.
Separation or filtration may require a separately selected geotextile.
Sequence the interfaces.
- 01
Accept and prepare the formation; remove obstructions that could damage the grid.
- 02
Roll the geogrid flat at the specified level and orientation, maintaining the approved overlaps and anchorage.
- 03
Place compatible angular aggregate without trafficking the exposed grid.
- 04
Spread and compact in controlled lifts so aggregate interlocks without displacing or damaging the grid.
- 05
Inspect overlaps, wrinkles, damage, cover and completed levels before the next construction stage.

TerraGrid Core 20 questions.
Does Core 20 mean 20 kN/m in both directions?
Yes. The current manufacturer data declares 20 / 20 kN/m in the machine and cross directions.
Can this grade reduce aggregate depth?
A reinforced design may be more efficient, but any reduction must come from the formation, loading, aggregate, grid properties and chosen design method—not the grade name alone.
Does it replace geotextile?
Not automatically. A geotextile may still be needed for separation or filtration where the formation and aggregate require it.
