Verified scope

What this product is.

CORE TRP Panels are cellular components used within project-designed CORE TRP no-dig build-ups. This page records a verified 100 mm project depth without inventing a separate product name. It is not marketed as CORE GEOCELL: the CORE TRP 10 Membrane, infill, edge, surface and arboricultural design form the wider CORE TRP system.

Applications

Where it can be considered.

  • No-dig paths within Root Protection Areas
  • Cycle routes close to retained trees
  • Vehicle access subject to design
  • Tree-sensitive parking and public realm
Limitations

Where judgment is required.

CORE TRP is a project system, not a panel-only claim.

An arboriculturist and the relevant design team must approve works within Root Protection Areas.

Loading, ground, roots, levels, drainage, edges and surface determine the completed build-up.

Do not substitute CORE GEOCELL naming or data for the TRP component schedule.

Installation overview

Sequence the interfaces.

  1. 01

Agree the arboricultural method, protected area, levels and approved no-dig preparation.

  2. 02

Install the designed edge restraint and CORE TRP membrane without excavation or trafficking that would damage roots.

  3. 03

Expand, align, connect and pin CORE TRP panels to the approved geometry.

  4. 04

Backfill progressively with the specified free-draining aggregate while protecting cells and roots.

  5. 05

Install the edge and porous wearing-course build-up, then record inspections and as-built levels.

Straight answers

CORE TRP Panel — 100 mm questions.

Is the 100 mm CORE TRP Panel the same as CORE GEOCELL 100?

No. CORE TRP Panels are specified as components of the branded CORE TRP system. CORE GEOCELL is a separate product family used across other applications.

Can the panel alone protect roots?

No. The membrane, infill, edges, surface, construction method and arboricultural controls are all part of the no-dig system.

Who approves the build-up?

The relevant arboriculturist, designer and approving authority remain responsible for project-specific acceptance.
